Nanette R. Brewer, age 63, of Mount Vernon passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born on December 7, 1961, in Madison, Indiana to Robert and Sandra (Hearne) Schmidt. Nanette was employed at Maurices here in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening. But most of all, she loved the time she spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, of nearly 35 years, Patrick Brewer; her son Charles Griswold; numerous grandchildren; her mother Sandra Schmidt; her brother Robert Schmidt Jr, and her sisters, Saundra Hutchin, Sharon Corbin and Susan Priest.
Nanette was preceded in death by her father Robert Schmidt Sr, and her sister Diana Meyer.
In keeping with Nanette's wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a memorial service at a day and time to be announced.
