Larry Dean Loy, age 80, of Lock, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Knox Community Hospital.
He was born on January 28, 1945, in New Martinsville, West Virginia to the late Cecil and Garnet (Loy) Rush. Larry enjoyed woodworking, camping and fishing. But most of all, Larry loved the time he spent with his family and close friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandy (Brigham) Slusser, Cora Ray; his son Wyatt (Lynn Price) Loy; thirteen grandchildren; his brothers, David (Pam) Rush, Wayne (Pat) Rush; and his sisters, Alberta (Johnny) DeWitt, Carol (Carmen) Goff, and Teresa (Dan) Leedy.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Rush and his sister Wilma Hart.
In keeping with Larry's wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will have a celebration of life gathering at a day and time to be announced.
