Curtis Ryan Hicks, age 47, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia, to Elmer and Sue (Hawk) Hicks
Curtis graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1997. He worked for AVI Foodsystems in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Curtis was an avid professional Wrestling fan. He loved to sit around and watch and talk wrestling with his nephew. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, and the Cincinnati Reds. Most of all he loved being around friends and family.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Phillip (Mandy) Hicks; nieces and nephews, Dominick, Kassandra, Kurissa and Adyn Hicks; an aunt, Sheila Prater.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
